How it started

Lets get into the inspo design. The stories always start with that one image.
The white pergola was done ages ago.
Here is the one I got added.
I started looking at tile but most of it was beyond my budget.
I have done a lot of outdoor work over time. Nothing was done in 8 weeks. Plus plants take time.

Progress

The inspo images are collected over time. So, i dont have sources.
I got all the gray tile from home depot and for the white ones, lets keep that for last.
I also got the fountain on facebook marketplace a long time ago. I will talk more about it when we get to outdoor furniture week.

Changes vs inspiration

So, we opted for a greige initially and we had it just laid out on the gray gravel outside but I had so much awful weed problem which made the entire area look bad. If anyone tells you having gravel is great, remember it is a lot of work to maintain. So, i went looking for white tile that looked like marble but didnt find anything that was affordable. So, I went rogue and bought it from a seconds store. It had some issues but I went twice to different stores to get it.

I have to provide a small warning for this. The white tile is cheaper but its not a paver. Its much thinner than paver tile. It is working fabulously outside but it is slippery in rainy season. So, be careful.

There are some amazing floors I have seen. I had originally not decided on the border but my husband came up with a cool solution where i had like 20 tiles of a beige gray and he said i should go more gray. So, i went to home depot for more gray tile. They had just enough on sale for $19 each. The paver was more expensive than the white tile. I did get some at $17 when there was a sale at the end of fall. I have linked The nearest tile in the shop below.

Come back next week for all the new updates and what else I have planned.
