I am in love with a good breakfast nook. I wish i had the room for it but i only have one space for dining and it necessitated a large table instead of cute breakfast nook and homework area.
I have often tried to get my friends to revamp their breakfast area but none have agreed so. This is my attempt to urge all my internet friends to try one of these ideas for breakfast nooks. Please tag me if you do so that i can live in that breakfast area vicariously through your vision.
There are some classic examples of breakfast nooks. Round tables are the most popular breakfast nook ideas due to the limited space available.
I am going to go out on a lim b and say i love round marble tables. Unfortunately i have no space for one and its a pipe dream.




The tables below are all banquettes and mostly have round tables. banquettes really help issues of space and a round table helps one get seated more easily.
One is a good saarinen table leaning more towards mid century modern. The picture below has Matilda Goad’s gorgeous breakfast nook.
The variation on this is a vintage round table and mid century cantilever chairs.




the corner sofas are beautiful. I absolutely recommend doing seat cushions at the back to get the elevated look.




All the above have either oval or rectangualr tables which also work great when you have a larger family or more room. The custom made u shaped sofa is just so beautiful. iI has made a traditional style more modern bu giving it a minecraft look.
Cafe curtains or pull down roman shades are great choices to keep in mind.
Fabric lampshades or lanterns are great optios for hanging light.
Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious.
