week 6 – patio and outdoor – spring 2025 ORC – cleanup and painting

Here is the left side planter box painted.

I used an outdoor paint and primer which I already owned and its in the color mocha from Behr.

I used the handypail Handy Pro Pail and roller for the work and the smaller brush for the smaller job. for all the painting and found it so convenient.

I want to thank handypail for sponsoring the product.

I also used the Handy Snap Cap for closing the paint container when not in use.

Current changes vs inspiration for furniture

I had a certain idea for how to do the lighting design and i got all the kit for it. I also got some pegs for climbing planters which I will use below.

my husband helped me with a lot of cleanup with our pressure washer. Its linked below.

Did i tell you about this little bird and her babies. A bird laid her eggs, sat for 2 weeks, and then little babies tried to fly out of the nest. My husband was really invested.

I used a stencil with my kiddo and we both did different stencils. he was so adamant he finished all the steps. I might add some more paint later.

Next steps is furniture, planters and umbrellas. I got these lovely chairs below from fb markeptlace. The table is linked in the shop below. I still have a lot of plant stuff to plant. let’s see if we can get all the furniture in time. I need a sofa and I have been eyeing the Serena and Lily one but its not in my budget. I will use thrifted items I have for decorating.
