week 4 – guest room littlepaisly – fall One room Challenge 2024

Here we go for week 4. I finished painting the accent blue on the closet and door. I do need to fix somethings and I will make a post on things i learnt.

To Begin with

It is bedding week now.
I was supposed to finish my headboard by now.
I will list supplies below for making your own headboard.
Piping is key to make it look elevated and to tie in with the rest of the room.
My husband half convinced me i need to just buy a new headbaord

Listing things left to get

Week 4 – Start the headboard work.
Piping is going to be so hard.
I have looked at a thousand tutorials but i am very nervous.
I have doing some backyard work. So, this ORC is taking a lot longer than I want.
Did you guys know this image is from Beate Human’s swedish cottage.
The pink bedroom features a  by Great Windsor Chairs, layered with a bedspread, vintage quilted pillows, and a red boudoir pillow by.

Space Plans and things done

The headboard is going to be blue with a dark pink border. I have a purple piping but I am gping to wing it as I go.
painting was done(ish)
I got all the supplies – headboard fabric/batting/etc – this week
fabric is thrifted. I was going to use something I bought on etsy but thankfully i didnt since its not upholstery fabric.
I have a new plan but only if time permits.
dresser redo – week 5??
to paint the closet door or not an accent color? – done
picture Lighting hang – need a new outlet – is there a way to do this with puck lights? – still researching this.
