There is something so very personal about art and how it speaks to people’s emotions. Our homes are our refuge and our safe place from the ongoings of the world. The place we escape to and where all out emotions come to marinate. Our home itself is an expression of our personality and the story of our life. It is only natural that art is so very personal as well.

All of us love to bring the art that makes us feel good and happy and also reminds us of possibly, a vacation we went on or an event it signified., and so it is only natural that it brings us joy.

Mindfulness

Art doesn’t require thought, it can be a free-flowing creative process. To practice mindful art, you can simply start creating or choose a piece of art as inspiration for your own creation. Block out the other thoughts and distractions in your life and give yourself a set amount of time to make art or enjoy it.

Cutwork, Doodling, Mandalas

You can create a collage that expresses what you’re feeling about a specific situation to process your emotions and thoughts. You may also collage a vision board to focus on the future and use photos that excite you. All you need are some magazines, newspapers, or old images around your house. You doodle flowers, birds, mountains, typefaces(fonts) to express your emotions. They are also a great with planner books. Using coloring books and fillling in colors with paints or crayons is such a great release.
