week 2 – Guest Room littlePaisly – fall 2024 One room Challenge

To Begin with

Wall paint is done.
As i said before, I am not convinced about how the paint is behaving in this dark room.
I have started to paint the samples for the closet and door.
I am looking at Kittiwake and a lilac color.
I may have bought too many samples.

Week 2 – Get remaining supplies for week 3 headboard.
So, i looked at angelawator’s choice of drumroll – Behr uptown girl
It actually a much darker purple. I dont know how that picture is showing more lilac.
I am thinking of leaning kittiwake. I was even considering Lulworth blue but decided to go muted.
I did try a few other SW paints in the same family.

My space and the Plans for it

The lavendar shade might be a duh. its on my site but it actualy came from a folder i have and an painting of lilacs i thrifted.
I tried out a few stencils i own today for a celing style i am interested to do.
I am holding off on buying any of the lavender/lilac accessories so that i can be certain about the color.

Below are some images to check how i want to do this.
My idea is to start in the middle. i have made a couple of stencils.
will add detailed steps next week. Stay tuned.
